Since I fell moving into my new place, I have taken a few weeks off of skating any serious amount. However, this past Sunday marked my return to full out skating. Of course, logging in over 40K in one session was not the best of ideas. My hips and groin were on full notice afterwards. Not to mention the restless leg syndrome while trying to fall asleep.
Yesterday I participated in a fun orienteering race here and ended up skating 30k around the city gathering clues. Needless to say, I am dead on my feet. Especially since I played tennis for just under two hours prior to the race. Dumb. But at least it was an awesome calorie burn. Stay postitive right? ;)
